The draft program, proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Wooden Housing Association, received a positive assessment from the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Igor Shuvalov, and was also coordinated with the Ministry of Construction and the AHML.
The priority project "Development of wooden housing in the Russian Federation" suggests:
- Subsidizing the lending rate for working capital of manufacturers and developers;
- Tax incentive mechanisms with investments in modernization;
- Development of legislative, regulatory and methodological framework;
- At least 30% of the quota (construction using wooden structures and materials under state order);
- Formation of media information field;

- Development of vocational training programs;
- Creation of the Russian Research Center for engineered wood.

The idea of giving the wooden house-building development program the status of a Priority National Project was born in the Association and was actively supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
