If Your a country house or cottage is located near the lake, then perhaps it is worth taking note of the idea of Australian architects Marshall Blecher and Magnus Maarbjerg from the Fokstrot design studio. They created a prototype floating island that will navigate the harbor of Copenhagen. Since this is only a prototype so far, the simple name “CPHØ1 model” was assigned to it.
The island, which is open to any person, will move around the harbor over the next year, and can be used for fishing, barbecue, camping and swimming. Also it can hold small events in different places.
The island is a small, hand-made wooden platform with an area of about 20 m², which is completely made From environmentally friendly materials - both natural and artificial, obtained by recycling plastic bottles. A lively deciduous tree 6 meters high was placed in the center of the island.
