Vi skal på tur, - hvis fergen går!
Jeg har jo skrevet om fergene som kommer innom her, som går fra
Thessaloniki til Kreta, og nå har vi tenkt å prøve det ut. Jeg
har planlagt at vi drar til Santorini, 2 dager der, så til Kreta
hvor vi vil prøve å besøke Spinalonga,
se min side om det,
bare klikk!
En av oss forlater oss på Kreta og flyr direkte til Norge,
mens 2 av oss skal tilbake til Skopelos. Håper å kunne dra til
Paros og/eller Naxsos og så bli plukket opp der av Daliana.
Da vi ville kjøpe billetter i går så fikk vi beskjed om a komme
igjen fredag.
Hvorfor det?
Blir fergen innstilt?
De sa tidligere at den skulle gå ut
hele oktober.

Vet ikke om du har opplevet det, men det er
umulig å planlegge reiser til og fra Skopelos fordi vi ikke vet
om;
Går båten?
Ett eksempel; Det har i de siste landet fly
fra England på Skiathos i 18-tiden, da har det ikke vært båter
til Skopelos og Alonnisos, så man må ligger over på Skiathos.
~~~~~~~~
Jeg prøver å sjekke om fergen Daliana kommer lørdag morgen for å ta
oss sydover til Santorini. På sidene til Greek Islands Ferries
får jeg beskjed om at de ikke kan oppgi noe før etter den 13. vi
skal reise den 11! OpenSeas.gr sier at båten går, men gjør den
det?
Nede her noen klipp om hva jeg
fant mens jeg lette;
We are going on a trip, - if the ferry is going! I have
mentioned some times the ferry who passes by here from
Thessaloniki to Crete, and now we have planned to try it out. We
will get off at Santorini, stay there for 2 days, then on to Crete
where we will try to visit
Spinalonga, see
på page about that,-
just click!
One of us is leaving at Crete and will fly directly to Norway,
and two us us will go back to Skopelos. Hope to go via Paros
and/or Naxos and then be picked up by Daliana. But when we wanted
to book tickets yesterday, we were told to come back on
Friday. Why?
Is the ferry not going?
When we asked in the ferry office last week, we were told that the
ferry will go all October.
I do not know if you have
experienced it, but it is nearly impossible to plan travels to and
from Skopelos, because we do not know;
Is there any boat?
An example; Lately there has
landed planes from the UK at 1800 hrs. in Skiathos, then there is
no boat to Skopelos and Alonnisos, one has to stay overnight at
Skiathos.
I am trying to check if the ferry Daliana will come Saturday morning to take
us south to Santorini. On the pages of Greek Islands Ferries they
can not tell be before the 13th, but we are leaving on the 11th!
OpenSeas.gr says the boat will leave, but is that for sure?
Down here are some clips that I
found when I was out searching;
"There
is good news and bad news about the Greek ferry system and
finding schedules to the islands. The good news is that the
boats are improving. They are faster, cleaner and more
comfortable. The bad news is they cost more to run so ticket
prices are higher and finding reliable schedules more than 2
weeks in advance is still a problem."
From
Greek islands ferries;
"SKOPELOS
is the
greenest island in Greece. Here, where the green of the
pine-trees and the dense forest mix with the deep blue of sea
and sky, creating the picture of unrivalled nature beauty, you
will find yourself in an idyllic land, in a small paradise in
the very heart of Greece. Because the island of Skopelos is
defined by lush green forest and the blue of the sea the
International organization of Biopolitics, on July the 5th
1997, officially proclaimed it "Green and Blue
Island". More than 50% of the island area is covered by a
virgin forest of pine-trees. A forest which, when you visit
Skopelos, will also need your love and care in order to
maintain the natural beauty and ecological balance that has
survived for nearly 4000 years."
My
question is;
will we get the Daliana to Santorini
on Saturday?
