Churches of Skopelos Skopelos Kirker Jeg er veldig fasinert av disse herlige, små kirkene som ligger over alt på Øen! De er så vakre, de er så hvite, de står der som fine monumenter som alle kan se! Begge disse to passerte vi på vår vei opp til 1. Juledags Luncen! Ofte er takene i skifer, meget godt håndværk!  Hvor mange kirker er det på Skopelos? Det eneste jeg vet er at nå er det mer enn 400 av dem.  I 1983 ble jeg fortalt at det var 365, - en for hver dag! Mange har blitt bygget siden det! I am very fascinated by these lovely, small churches spread all over the island. They are so beautiful, so white, they are good monuments for anybody to see! Both these we passed on Christmas Day on the walk up to the big lunch. Roofs often sin slate, very good handy-crafted! How many churches we have on Skopelos? Who can tell? I am sure we have more that 400.
